Section 1. General physiological characteristics of the organism’s development of adolescents and the influence of bad habits on his development

1.1 Physiological features of development of a child

As is known in adolescence there is an active physical growth of the organism.

Growth (body length) – one of the most important indicators of physical development (See Appendix No. 1). It is known that the growth continues until 17-19 years girls and to 19-22 years in boys. Thus the periods of accelerated growth interspersed with periods of relative slowdown. So quite a significant increase in body length was observed in the first year of life (average 25 cm), then aged 4 to 7 years and at the beginning of puberty (he takes in girls from 10 to 16 years and boys from 11 to 17 years) [22]. As can be seen from Appendix 1 changes and other physical parameters. It is therefore important that the period of rapid physical development of the adolescent were alien to bad habits.

The transition to adolescence is characterized by profound changes in the conditions affecting the personal development of the child. They relate to the physiology of the body, relations emerging in adolescents with adults and peers, level of development of cognitive processes, intelligence and abilities. In all of this planned transition from childhood to adulthood. The child’s body begins to adapt and turn into the body of an adult. The center of physical and spiritual life moved from the house to the outside world, passes on Wednesday peers and adults. Relationships in the peer group are based on more serious than entertaining cooperative play, Affairs, covering a wide range of activities, from joint work on anything up to personal communication on vital topics. In all these relationships with people teenager enters, already being intellectually developed person and having powers that allow him to occupy a certain place in relationships with peers. The process of intellectual development is completed somewhat earlier than the process of their formation as a person. Within three to four years of study in high school is made of motivational sphere of the person, determined by his personal and business interests, appear professional inclinations and abilities.

The teenage period is the most difficult of children’s ages, representing the period of formation of the personality. Here are the basics of ethics, social attitudes are formed, the relationship to oneself, to people, to society. At this age also stabilize traits and basic forms of interpersonal behavior. The main motivational lines of this self – knowledge, self-expression, self-assertion. So often, in order to establish themselves among their peers, many Teens and attached to bad habits. According to them, it makes them more Mature in the eyes of peers.

In adolescence, students tend to be similar to older, sometimes this desire is so strong that a teenager prematurely begins to consider himself an adult, requiring appropriate to treat him / her as an adult. Seeing the manifestation of certain qualities in adults or in those who are older than the teenager begins to imitate them, this also leads to the bringing them to bad habits.
